Steve Darling Biography
Steve Darling, Global TV News - PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS Ambassador.
Steve Darling is the co-host of BC's #1 rated morning news program, The Global BC Morning News. He is an avid golfer having grown up working on golf courses in North Delta and Richmond. He is excited to help raise funds for ALS through the very unique and totally fun Golfathon. He is also very excited to be working with a great organization, the PGA of B.C.
ALS can hit anyone, at any time, regardless of age, gender or ethnic origin. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is two to five years. Support equipment costs an average of $137,000 per patient; nursing and/or home care costs are up to 10 times that amount.
