Alberta Courses sign on
Twin brothers Patrick and Pieter Martin at Silverwing Links Golf Club in Calgary, and Weston Gillett at Drayton Valley Golf Course in Drayton, Alberta have signed on for the PGA Golfathon for ALS. Proceeds from their golfathons will go to patient services administered by the ALS Society of Alberta.

ALS can hit anyone, at any time, regardless of age, gender or ethnic origin. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is two to five years. Support equipment costs an average of $137,000 per patient; nursing and/or home care costs are up to 10 times that amount.
